As a result of their continuing success, they are seeking to recruit an ambitious Finance Business Partner to join their growing team.

The Role

Our client is looking for a financial business partner within one of the divisions to support the divisional director with effective financial planning and analysis of the business. The successful candidate will provide business expertise into accounting/financial control processes while demonstrating appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the corporate message is visible and alive throughout all activities relating to the sites worked from.

As finance business partner you will be providing business expertise into the accounting/financial control processes as well as preparing, challenging and explaining accomplishments of budgets and forecasts in coordination with Operations and Commercial teams, and recommend and help implement actions to bring performance back to budget if performance deviates.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in dealing with manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, plant operations and managing multiple projects as well as the ability to represent finance with the business and the business with finance. The finance business partner will have a hands on and proactive attitude to pursue tasks where value for the business can be added and have experience in building strong working relationships across different seniority grades.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced HR professional to provide guidance and support to the Executive Committee, senior management team, line managers and supervisors with the management and development of their teams.

As HR Manager you will oversee HR actions for all allocated sites. Working as a member of the HR Team to provide direct guidance to the HR Officers and have joint responsibility for the HR Administrators and develop them appropriately. Proactively supporting key projects including business changes, acquisitions, integrations, TUPE transfers and restructures will also be a key task.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping up to date with the Company’s H&S and environmental statistics relative to industry benchmarks in order to demonstrate our credibility and be the company expert in relation to all legislative and people initiatives. Working effectively with all levels of management to provide a comprehensive and pragmatic HR service.

The HR Manager will use their enhanced skills to Influence and build strong communication relationships, as well as lasting strategic business relationships with relevant Business Unit Directors, ensuring that trust and confidence in decision making is built into everyday conversations.
