Our Client
Our client operates across the UK providing ISO consultancy and audit support to a large variety of SMEs. Concentrating on ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001, they are also increasingly busy implementing and auditing against ISO27001 as well as Business Continuity and Energy Management.
With a full order book and plans to grow during the next twelve months they are now looking to recruit a new Consultant to meet their client demands within Northamptonshire and the surrounding area.

The Role
This is a hybrid role covering both systems implementation and consultancy on one hand and systems audit on the other. Within your geographical region you will visit clients on a daily basis to either consult and help implement a standard or to conduct an audit.
My client is keen to speak to ‘rounded’ business professionals who can offer excellent experience across different responsibilities within a variety of industry sectors. You may have run your own business and implemented a business system into your own company. You may have worked as a QA Manager across a number of industries or alternatively within a business or continuous improvement role. Any experience of IT / Information Security will be highly advantageous.
The key requirement alongside your business experience is your communication skills and the willingness to work in the field, at a different client site every day. A strong communicator, you will be prepared to travel on a regular basis within Northamptonshire and occasionally further afield if required.

Responsibilities
• To plan & conduct professional management system audits
• Consultancy for client management systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO Standards and with documented processes and procedures.
• Complete all reporting and follow up as necessary

• Rounded business experience at a senior level within a variety of sectors

The Role
Researching equipment. Project management and method validation. Preparation and analysis samples using a variety of wet chemistry methods and a wide range of analytical techniques.
Method development and maintenance of GC/MS, GC/TQ and LC/DAD/TQ methods.
Limited client liaison and writing technical reports.

Principal responsibilities
1. Preparation and analysis of textile and related samples
2. Development and maintenance of GC/MS, GC/TQ and LC/DAD/TQ methods
3. Write technical reports as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum chemistry qualification BSC degree level or equivalent
Volatile Organic Compounds
Thermal Desorption
Chromatography - both HPLC and GC
With detectors – quadrapole MS, triple quadrapole MS, Chemical ionisation MS
Software – preferably shimadzu
Method development & validation
Extensive experience working within an analytical chemistry department.

The Role
You will ideally be educated to HNC or higher in a textiles or chemistry based subject. You will have a technical analytical mind set, be very organised and capable of working within an admin intensive role. A confident communicator you will have excellent relationship development skills.

Your role is to communicate and manage the testing application process across the full life cycle from preparing client quotes (time & cost) and project definition through to client reporting.

You will have the ability to understand a laboratory testing process and to be able to manage and communicate with customers and colleagues alike throughout the test process. You will be very organised, capable of working within a technical environment and managing several different projects and customers at any one time.

As a Technical Officer you will process customer applications and provide quotes, as well as prepare reports and certificates. Working closely with colleagues in the laboratory and admin departments you will ensure that customer care promises are met, helping managers to answer customer enquiries and carry out general customer service duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
·Knowledge of textiles and other materials
·A science background (Chemistry preference), ideally at higher education
·IT literate and use of Laboratory Information Management systems (training will be provided if necessary)
·Ability to work in a team with a flexible and willing attitude
·Ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines

The Role
Ideally from an engineering or manufacturing background you will be an experienced engineer who would like to develop a career within ISO Audit. You will be experienced in internal auditing or perhaps supplier auditing. You will understand the life of an auditor, the role, travel and reporting and have the flexibility to be able to work on client site on a regular basis.
With a strong knowledge of ISO9001, you will be given full support to develop skills and qualifications as a Lead Auditor. You will be a very strong communicator and team player. You will be prepared to travel on a regular basis within Northern England and the Central Belt of Scotland as required.

Our client, part of a global certification organisation, is searching for candidates with experience of product certification and working in compliance testing of explosion safety equipment to join them as a Certification Engineer.
They will also offer full support & training to candidates with a basic knowledge who would like to develop their career as a Certification Engineer.

The Role

You will take responsibility for assessing equipment against industry standards, providing advice to clients, managing projects, completing all reporting and ensuring company and client KPIs are met.
You will be educated to HNC, HND or Degree level in an electrical or mechanical engineering, have a good knowledge of compliance within industrial manufacturing and an understanding of the basics of product certification. Any experience of ATEX or IECEx will be highly beneficial.
You will a rounded professional with excellent communication skills as well as strong commercial knowledge around projects, reporting and customer focus / service.
