As a result of continued success, our client is now seeking an experienced Partner to join the Commercial team in their Lincoln branch.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, driven individual looking for a challenging and rewarding step up in their established legal career. The role is most likely to suit a current Partner or Senior Associate ready to progress to the next level. You will play a pivotal role in building commercial presence and reputation in the Lincoln region and growing and developing an ambitious team to support you with that goal. This position would suit a confident, ambitious and client-facing professional with a proven ability to influence others both internally and externally. With a solid technical knowledge you will have experience of sales and purchases (including investment), development and landlord and tenant matters (including, licences, options, overage agreements and conditional contracts). Strong people management skills are also required, with the role providing an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build, engage and develop a high performing team working towards clearly defined goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a range of clients, from owner managed businesses to large developers. As well as this you must be used to a caseload of 40-50 live matters and be comfortable with a personal fee target of no less than £200k.

Our client is an international manufacturing company for the powder and granulate industries such as chemical, food, plastics, pharmaceutical and cement. Their core competency is in the design and manufacture of components for materials handling.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join the business. With full P&L responsibility you will be responsible for delivering profitable sales growth to develop and grow the UK business. It will be your role to represent the business as an ambassador and to be held in the highest regard in terms of professionalism and integrity at all times. You will lead and support a sales and service team and where appropriate support them in winning and closing business opportunities, as well as resolving any service issues that arise.
