With the ambitious growth plans of the business owners, coupled with the fast pace of day to day site operations. GWE recognised the need to strengthen its leadership team in order to achieve the organisation’s capabilities. The Site Manager position was deemed a business-critical position and the successful candidate would be tasked with taking ownership for all day to day on site operations, personnel development, as well as supporting in the development of growth opportunities. A highly capable and knowledgeable candidate was required to fulfil this brief given the technical processes involved within an Anaerobic Digestion facility. Alongside this, the successful candidate had to be both comfortable and capable of developing close working relationships, provide leadership to the existing team and give a strategic vision of how the business could improve on it’s already impressive process and reputation.  GWE needed someone who demonstrated immediate credibility and chose to work with Newman Stewart because of our expertise in fulfilling senior level assignments within the Anaerobic Digestion/Waste Management industry.
