BSI was looking for a Business Development Manager for a key role, identifying and researching new business opportunities and upsell to clients in the food sector. This was a high performing role, intended to re-energise the sector and drive future growth. BSI turned to Newman Stewart following a recommendation, and knowing that high performing Business Development Managers are in high demand and often hard to find as they aren’t usually proactively looking for a new role.

After a thorough consultation and brief development with BSI, a retained search campaign was agreed. Newman Stewart’s specialist consultant met with a number of potential candidates who were fully vetted to ensure the high standards of the client were met and exceeded. Because of this, only one candidate was taken forward to interview, and was offered the role following a series of internal interviews
