Our Client 

Our client is a successful independent Heating & Ventilation manufacturing business. Operating from two manufacturing sites they produce high efficiency domestic boilers for sale across the UK.

With existing accounts to manage and grow they have also identified a number of prospective customers to target and sell to.

The Role 

Based from home your role will involve extensive travel across the region visiting customer outlets on a regular basis building relationships, promoting product and incentivising your customer to sell your goods.

Your clients will be predominately merchant/stockiest as well as private & public sector specifiers such as Housing Associations, local authorities and architects. The role will involve managing the sales cycle with contractors and back selling through both National and Independents builders & plumbers merchants. The company are keen to meet applicants with a good understanding of the construction market place and are genuinely open to people without H&V experience that are keen, with the ability to sell.

Key attributes associated with this role include being assertive, well presented, committed and able to build rapport at all levels. The ability to generate new business alongside developing existing accounts is vital.

You will be a determined, tenacious, strong minded individual with excellent communication skills. A relationship builder, who can break down barriers, can cope with potential initial rejection and doesn’t accept no as an answer.
Full product training will be given to successful candidates.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Business Directors, you will proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities within defined parameters whilst serving and further developing existing customers’ requirements, delivering continuous market feedback and operating with the highest level of professionalism and integrity at all times.

Responsibilities
You must be prepared to develop a coherent and cohesive business plan, identify leads, arranging your own client visits, meeting with clients face to face and demonstrating the drive to convert potential opportunities. Due to continued success they are looking for a HVAC Proposals Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role
As HVAC Proposals Engineer you will be expected to establish initial design proposals based on customer enquiries and or surveys, fully cost proposals and prepare formal quote documentation.
The successful HVAC Proposals Engineer should have experience in design or estimating within air conditioning, ventilation or building services.

To be successful in this role it would be beneficial to have experience in refrigeration, pumps, valves, steam, insulation, pipework and plumbing. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes would also be useful. The suitable candidate should be an innovative, creative thinker, a team player and be able to prioritise and multi-task.
