Our Client
Our client is a growing, family run electrical and mechanical engineering company that has been established for over 50 years. Serving on a local, national and international scale to provide high quality products for use within the manufacturing, production, commercial, industrial and agricultural markets.
Their products and services include;
·Electric motor sales, rewinding and manufacture
·Supply, installation and support for ABB drives
·Variable-speed drive hire
·Design, manufacture and installation of humidification systems
·Bespoke panel building
·Agricultural fan manufacture
·HVAC site service including repairs, refurbishment and upgrade of air water systems.
·Testing, modelling, specification, supply and installation of low-maintenance ultraviolet-c light disinfection solutions for HVAC systems.

The Role
You will be based at the client's head office near Maldon and will be required to carry out work both in the workshop and on-site within a range of industries. You will be required to perform electrical repairs and installations to the highest standards whilst complying with the relevant regulations and codes of practice.
You will be required to carry out regular maintenance and testing on a diverse range of electrical systems adhering to existing working practices, methods and procedures.
You will have to engage with customer's first hand to provide technical guidance and support both before and after the installation phase.

Skills and Experience
* Experience of working in accordance to standards including ISO9001, 14001 and 18001.
* Relevant industry experience or experience working within an electrical role.
* Experience in panel building and wiring (City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations would be beneficial).
* Ability to communicate across all levels within the organisation.
· Must hold full UK Driving License.

The Role

You will be a technically minded (mechanical &/or electrical) experienced Operations Professional who has worked in plant hire, equipment hire or similar on a national basis.

An excellent communicator and with experience successfully managing a small team (15 ) operating locally and remotely. You will be a rounded professional with a good knowledge and understanding of the importance of quality systems and health and safety within the work force. With external support from consultancies to look after management systems it will be your responsibility to ensure these are rolled out and followed internally. You will work closely with HR, transport, customer services and other colleagues to ensure your clients receive excellent products and service.

Focused, enthusiastic and driven you will be hands on and prepared to roll up your sleeves where necessary to get the job done. Working in a small successful business with like minded peers who pull together to produce great results in a warm friendly environment.

Whilst we will consider candidates with similar skills the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
