Our consultant really went the extra mile to understand our business needs and specific requirements in recruiting for this particular post . In a fast moving environment, speed and efficiency are paramount to us, but never sacrificing quality. We couldn’t fault Newman Stewart in fulfilling this brief, and as a result have improved the business in two key areas.
Dealing with Newman Stewart was a really good experience, my consultant was great, he kept me informed, had a very professional manner but was extremely easy to talk to at the same time, his expertise in my industry was second to none. Overall I was very happy and will be recommending Newman Stewart to others.
I have used many recruitment companies throughout my career, some good and some bad, but Newman Stewart was by far the best. The consultant I dealt with was excellent and couldn't have been better in terms of communication and helping with interview preparation.
I felt that the attention to detail that Newman Stewart provided was second to none. I was incredibly well prepped prior to interview and went on to secure the role. Overall, I was happy with every element of their service.
I was massively impressed with Newman Stewart. I had been dealing with other recruitment companies for a year and without a doubt working with Newman Stewart made a refreshing change. Overall it was a very good experience and I was helped through every stage of the process. I was incredibly impressed with the consultant and gave Newman Stewart top marks on their customer satisfaction survey. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to take their career to the next level.
John is a graduate of the University of Leeds and started his recruitment career more than 15 years ago with Ellis Fairbank plc, an Executive recruiter. During his first year there John was the highest fee earning consultant, he was subsequently promoted and ran a successful team of fee earning consultants, delivering retained and contingent search services. John took his experiences to a boutique Executive Search Company – Bowcliffe Partners, where, as part of a fast paced and evolving business, John was made a Director and shareholder. He then joined Robert Half International, a global recruitment brand with revenues of $3 billion. He initially took responsibility for 3 divisions in one location, before being promoted to take full responsibility for 3 divisions across 3 locations in the north of England, as part of the wider UK senior management team. John is ultimately responsible for the management and growth of Newman Stewart since its inception. John is married with 4 children and enjoys playing (veterans) football, golf, as well as running, swimming and cycling. “15 years training recruiters has given me exposure to a vast array of talent from all walks of life. There are some that follow and there are some that lead. John falls into the latter category. I first met John nearly a decade ago early in his recruitment career and even then he was creating a path for all to follow being top consultant in his first year in the firm. If you’re looking to recruit ambitious and successful talent then make sure you use a recruitment partner that shares the same qualities which John has in bucket loads.”
