Our client is very successful, stable and growing business. They are a proud UK family business with a turnover of approximately £10million. Though with projects delivered and projects won it is expected it will be closer to £20million in the coming financial year & likely this will continue to grow substantially over the next 3 to 5 years. Established over 50 years ago, they are a leading manufacturer and supplier of bulk materials handling equipment, plant and machinery to a diverse range of industries worldwide from Mining, Quarrying ,Mechanical & Civil Engineering, Waste Management & Recycling , Fishing and Agricultural.

We are seeking a proactive, positive, and commercially aligned Finance Director to support the next phase of this business's development.

The Role

This role will entail all of the usual statutory requirements you would expect of a role of this nature, and the need to be hands on, flexible, adaptable & commercial is essential.

Working directly with the Directors you will work to provide budgets, forecasts and plans to show best and worst case scenarios, in line with expected costs and of course profits. Your ultimate goal and responsibility is to enable the company to grow, profitably whilst adhering to and surpassing all legislative requirements.

As a qualified accountant you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Cost Accounting.
  • Statutory & ManagementAccounting.
  • Tax & VAT.
  • Commercial risk and project management.
  • Internal and External Audit.
  • Credit management.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Business systems.

To be successful in this role you will have considerable experience of Financial Management within the engineering and manufacture sector. As Financial Director you will be a strategic thinker, self-disciplined and a hands on key driver behind success for the company.
