Our client is a very successful business who have can boast a phenomenal reputation within the industry. They are an exceptional global business and leading provider of mechanically engineered solutions to a variety of industries including construction, rail and O&G. Our client prides itself on the business integrity, industry knowledge and the skills and abilities of its personnel. As a result of their continuing success, they are seeking to recruit an R&D Manager to join their growing team.

As the R&D Manager you will be responsible for the research, testing and development of new products, whilst ensuring the existing product ranges meet the required standards and approvals to allow for further market development opportunities. You will provide high quality and fast response to customers, as well as enhancing brand value and increasing sales, profitability and market share across all of our clients markets.

To be successful in this role you will require extensive experience within an aligned industry. Experience in engineering, design or research and development departments is essential. You should have an excellent technical understanding of a range of product categories; specifically castings, turned parts, cold forming and fasteners. You should also have a high level of project management experience, maintaining clear direction for yourself and other members of the team.
