Area Sales Manager

Our client is a leading global Materials Handling company with over 90 years’ experience. Due to continued growth and success they are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join and lead their team, covering the South Coast.
Our client is looking for a sales focused and customer driven individual to develop, identify and lead opportunities for sales around the South Coast region.
As Area Sales Manager you will be expected to achieve agreed territory sales targets, for revenue, order intake and market share. You will be required to lead the regions Sales Team whilst working collaboratively alongside service to maximise revenue and profitability across the region. You will also coach, mentor, monitor and manage the sales team to maximise their potential and achieve agreed company targets - providing regional leadership and support for the Territory team.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience within the Materials Handling industry – this would be an advantage but is not essential. You should have a successful track record of creating first class customer relationships and exceeding sales targets as well as leading a team. If you are a highly motivated, engaging and approachable individual with a strong commercial mind-set who enjoys a challenge then this is the role for you.
