Reporting to the Directors you will be responsible for promoting sales and gaining market position by focusing on and securing new orders from identified prospects in targeted segments, all the while focusing on achieving contract margin targets for each product category sold.
The ideal candidate will be a high performing achiever; self-motivated and target driven, you are equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team. Ideally with a demonstrable track record of sales success into house builders, build to rent developers, architects and specifiers, you have a proven ability to open new accounts, strong account development skills, drive and enthusiasm and a personable and professional attitude.

Technical Sales Engineer
£35,000 - £55,000 (Depending on experience)
Our client is an exceptional global business, with offices covering all continents, specialisng in the design and manufacture of engineered components for the bulk material handling sector. Our client has diversified their business throughout the years, developing several new product areas. With their electronics department becoming a key part of the group business portfolio, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to drive further growth. This department specialises in the development and sale of innovative safety electronic sensors and systems for industrial applications in explosive risk environments.
As Technical Sales Engineer your overall objective is to generate significant new business across the electronic monitoring equipment sector. You will drive and deliver continuous technical sales support whilst monitoring and reporting on industry activity. You will also deliver technical process evaluations and attend industry functions, providing feedback and information on market trends.
To be successful in this role you should have an Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related degree or qualifications (or equaivalent by experience), a proven track record of new business development and a strong background of technical sales in a similar field. Polymer Technology Specialist
£60,000 - £70,000 package
Our client is a market-leading manufacturer within industrial engineering, supplying products and services across a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Marine and Structural. As part of the increased effort on innovation, they are looking to strengthen their Corporate Research & Innovation Centre in Northern Europe and want to further build their capabilities in solutions beyond steel.
There is an opportunity for a Polymer Technology Specialist to join the business, to work in the Materials Solutions Centre. This central team works together with teams across the business units, the Corporate Innovation Team and the many colleagues of R&I and help to bring innovative new products and solutions to the market. This role will be based primarily within the UK for the first 6-12 months, subsequently relocating to the Technology Center in Northern Europe. Initially you will be working on the development of emerging products and technologies for the fast-developing renewable energy sector.
To be successful in this role you will have a Master's degree in Materials Science and/or PhD in chemistry as well as 5 to 10 years of experience in a production and/or development environment. This is a highly technical role which requires specific working knowledge in the following areas:
In addition, you are a team player, with strong communication skills and can easily collaborate well with others at all levels both internally and externally. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and like to work independently and you have the ability to drive collaboration & cooperation across different functions and Business Units.
Fluent English is a requirement of this role, as is a willingness to travel and/or relocate.
