Our client is global market leader operating within highly specialised, engineered solutions. As result of their continuing success, they are seeking to recruit an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join their growing team.
Reporting into the Commercial Manager the Area Sales Manager is responsible for maximising sales in their designated region by promoting industrial and other ancillary process equipment offered by our client to a diverse range of industries including but not limited to power and energy, food and beverage and industrial sectors.
As Area Sales Manager you will carefully plan territory coverage to ensure that the area is systematically covered and unproductive sales effort is kept to a minimum, as well as keeping reporting and forward planning up-to-date together with input into the customer database. The successful candidate will effectively promote company products and services to existing and potential customers to achieve defined sales quota and ensure that all quotations are processed as quickly and economically as possible using data from both internal and external sources.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and contractors at all levels. Have good analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to good initiative and ability to work independently. The desired Area Sales Manager will have a proven track record of business development selling a technical engineered solution.
