Our Client

Our client is a global technology leader providing a wide range of Electrical and Optical products for diverse markets around the world. Their aim is to provide customers with superior quality products and first-class service, whilst remaining at the forefront of technological excellence. The main prupose of this role is to replicate company success within Germany through new business development.

The Role

As Business Development Manager you will support development and implementation of German sales plan and strategy, whilst identifying new areas of growth in Germany. You will develop relationships with customers and industry leaders, as well as monitoring customer, market and competitor activity. The successful Business Development Manager will work closely with internal technical teams and influence key technical decision makers.

To be successful in this role you will require extensive direct technical sales/technical solution sales experience in Telco or related industry. You will ideally have a degree in Business, Engineering or related field and have significant work experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators in Germany.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to find, win and retain new business in a competitive market, with a strong knowledge of market dynamics and business trends.
