Due to continued expansion and growth our clients are seeking an experienced ISL Engineer to join their evolving team. This role will be responsible for new and existing programmes, and products, that are being developed for the UK and International markets. You will take ownership for the full CADMIN (Concept, Assessment, Demonstration, Manufacture, In-service & Disposal) lifecycle. You will build robust relationships with customers to enable you to deliver the bespoke, high-quality service provided by our client.

To be successful within this position you must have high energy to be able to take on new and existing projects from the get-go. You will have the ability to prioritise projects and the assertiveness to build strong customer relations, and must have demonstrated experience in an ILS role, likely in the manufacturing, design, and system integrations field. In addition, you will possess high personal and professional standards. The culture within the organisation demands that you maximise your skills to deliver product ideas that will offer solutions to both new and existing clients whilst maintaining the gold standard products and services our client have built their reputation upon.

An established, profitable, and growing organisation, our client boasts the very latest production technology which allows them to adapt and tailor their products to match the ever-changing patterns and trends within the industry.

As New Product Development Engineer you will be accountable for the lead of new development including design, feasibility, material selection, engineering, technical and product specification as well as cost and return on investments. It will be a challenging yet rewarding role as you become a fundament part in developing the companies' offering and reputation.

You will be responsible for.

  • Proactively project managing all aspects of the NDP process
  • Lead the NPD process to maximise product design opportunities
  • Ensure product ranges are updated continually ahead of industry trends and developments
  • Liaise with multiple internal teams as well as external customers and suppliers
  • Keep ahead of market conditions, and user behaviour to maximise the success of NDP

You will need:

  • Educated to degree/professional qualification level or equivalent
  • Excellent understanding of fuse standards
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering successful products to market
  • Demonstratable experience with Lab equipment and testing processes.
