The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Regional Sales Manager to cover the North West of the UK. It will be your job to maintain and increase sales within the existing client base, identify new sales opportunities and create new leads. You will be selling stand-alone strapping, wrapping and hooding equipment for individual packs or for palletised products, building strong working relationships and being conscious of your customers' needs.

The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record of selling capital equipment in conjunction with packaging materials. You will be a good industrial/technical sales-person and ideally possess an engineering based qualification. The role requires you to sell into a wide variety of markets, but experience of building products, food or distribution markets would be advantageous.

Are you an engineer from a process background who is seeking a challenging and exciting role, in a dynamic and successful global business, with scope for delivering ground-breaking change?

Our client is an international supplier of engineering processing solutions and technologies across a wide range of industries. They are currently seeking a Process Engineer to take overall responsibility for creating and conveying the product features to clients and to market.

As Process Engineer you will be responsible for the production of designs and technical/commercial proposals, alongside support of project execution. In addition, the role will entail the running of smaller scale projects under the supervision of a Senior Process Engineer.

Day-to-day you will liaise with the sales and senior engineering teams to translate the client requirements into technical solutions. You will also be involved with costing of equipment/components supply, preparing technical and commercial proposals and supporting project managers and senior engineers with project activities.

To be successful in this role it would be advantageous to have a Food/Dairy/Beverage, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent in experience. You should have significant career success - currently operating in a similar role, with a keen eye for detail when producing designs. You should have excellent planning and organisational skills and be a continuous self-developer.
