Our client is one of the largest suppliers for the food and beverage processing industry and a wide range of other process industries. Approximately 18,000 employees in more than 50 countries contribute significantly to their success. A subsidiary of the group is now recruiting a Project Manager to join them - a market leader in refrigeration installations for the food, non-food, process and marine industries, supplying customised total solutions, from advice and engineering to the installation and maintenance of industrial cooling and refrigeration systems.

The Project Manager will be responsible for organising and controlling projects in the UK and will liaise with other engineering disciplines involved in completing projects. You will lead and manage projects through all life cycle phases and will be responsible for regular reporting on schedule and financial costs through each stage. Key management priorities for the role are to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering subject (or equivalent by experience) and 5 years' minimum experience of working in a project management role within industrial refrigeration. A sound knowledge of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project activities is vital, as is demonstrable experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature with nationwide scope, coupled with excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget
