Working in collaboration with the board define the marketing strategy for a £3billion (approximately) T/O privately held UK business. A business with multiple divisions that has grown organically and through acquisition. A business that operates in almost 20 countries and growing and is approaching 2000 employees.

To date this business has been driven by its sales engine. A high functioning, high performing sales business and infrastructure that engages it customers largely with outbound telephone calls. In 18 months, the digitisation of the world has moved forward rapidly, as has the way in which customers are happy to engage. This transition will continue rapidly and whilst telephone communication remains a key part of their plan, the opportunity to create self-generated high-quality leads and self-serving sales online across a suite of complimentary products from appropriately segmented and targeted customers is an opportunity the market needs, wants and our client is seeking to provide.

Reporting to the CEO and with a large marketing team globally this is a significant opportunity. We are seeking an individual with a high degree of digital and e-commerce expertise in large organisations with multiple international brands. It could be that you have worked in FMCG, Financial Services or Business Services. It is clear that you can demonstrate the steps you have taken to drive performance through marketing, the steps that you took, why you took them and the key learnings. With board level experience (divisional or main) you can manage multiple stakeholder groups internationally to drive the outcomes the business is seeking.
