Our client is a market-leading manufacturer within industrial engineering, supplying products and services across a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Marine and Structural. As part of the increased effort on innovation, they are looking to strengthen their Corporate Research & Innovation across the UK & Northern Europe and want to further build their capabilities in solutions beyond steel.
There is an rare opportunity for a Senior R&I Manager in Synthetic Mooring Solutions to join the business, to help the development and execution of synethetic Mooring segment strategy for the floating wind farm sector. This team works together across multiple UK & EU sites , the Corporate Innovation Team and the many colleagues of R&I help to bring innovative new products and solutions to the market.
To be successful in this role it would be advantageous to have a university degree in engineering or materials science and demonstratable product application experience. You will have extensive experience in leading and managing projects from new product design concept to commercilisation. This is a highly skilled technical role which requires specific working knowledge in the following areas:
In addition, you are a team player, with strong communication and leadership skills and can easily collaborate well with others at all levels both internally and externally. You will have drive to collaboration & cooperation across different functions and Business Units.
Fluent English is a requirement of this role, as is a willingness to travel globally dependent on the role requirements.

Our client is a national contractor who provides EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) services to the rail infrastructure and engineering sectors (mechanical handling, bulk storage, bridges, marine and ports, highways and transportation, utilities, professional services, and nuclear). As a result of their continuing success, they are looking to add talented and highly motivated Quantity Surveyors to join their excellent, expanding business.
As QS it will be your role to take Commercial responsibility for the whole project life-cycle including preparation of cost estimates, procurement, cost forecasting and reporting.
