Our client is a market leader in waste management and recycling solutions. As a result of their continuing growth and success, they are seeking to recruit an ambitious experienced Operations Manager within logistics.

The Role

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for on time service delivery, recovery of non-service/missed lifts within company parameters and container deliveries, to be achieved within company parameters. You will also focus on ensuring any customer complaints are actioned in a timely manner to the satisfaction of both customer and site.

You will work in partnership with all areas of the business to implement and deliver sales plans aligned to operational requirements. You will ensure transport operational costs and resource are managed effectively and efficiency, whilst supporting the local sales strategies,

To be successful in this role it would be advantageous to have waste Management Industry knowledge or logistics background, managing large fleets of vehicles and drivers. Also previous Operational background, preferably within the waste management sector would be beneficial. You should have strong man management and communication skills, also with the ability to work well within a team.

The Role

As Field Sales Executive you will generate new business through targeting retail, hospitality, construction, SME's and Industrial estates in the local are to build your pipeline and provide quotations. The successful Field Sales Executive will be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of the company's products and solutions and those of competitors.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in the generation of high volume sales within industrial services, recycling or waste management, Utilities or similar door to door role. You should have an analytical approach to developing solutions for customers. If you are a driven and ambitious hard working individual, already working in a Field Sales/Door to door lead generator or relevant role, and looking for your next move, then this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you.
