National Account Manager - Retail
£50,000 - £55,000 Bonus Benefits
Our client is a leading independent automotive accessories supplier to national, regional and independent retailers both nationally and internationally. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, our client supplies over 1,400 customers in 50 countries.
They are looking to recruit a National Account Manager to look after existing customers, helping to achieve all budgeted sales and margin targets to achieve sustainable growth, whilst shaping and implementing strategies for particular key customer/ retail channels within the UK retail business unit. You will be required to work closely with managed accounts creating effective communication channels with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for P & L, NPD, Category and promotional planning within a specific account base in retail. It is expected that you will maintain and develop a network within existing and new customers along with developing new revenue streams where possible.
It is essential that the successful candidate has experience dealing with DIY Retailers and Major Grocers. You will be an enthusiastic character who is self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative. With outstanding negotiation and influencing skills you will be able to confidently develop effective business relationships with category buyers and directors. You will be highly numerate and be able to demonstrate a solid commercial acumen allowing you to operate at the highest levels of integrity.
