Our client is a global leader in the design and supply of plant and equipment to the world's process industries. Established over 90 years ago, they pride themselves on producing a range of high quality processing equipment specifically for the production of fine, dry powders. As a result of their continuing success, a new opportunity has opened for a Design Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role

As Design Engineer you will be responsible for developing low risk engineering specifications accurately, in agreed project timescales that are efficient and deliver value to the end user client. You will work with the team to deliver consistent feedback to the organisation as a whole, in the development and delivery of new products, systems and solutions.

To be successful in this role you should be educated to degree level. You should have evidence of career achievements in delivering complex mechanically designed process machinery systems or similar. The successful individual should be a positive and effective team player with strong commercial awareness. Ideally you will have a high level of understanding of drying and milling equipment or similar.

Project Engineer

As a result of their continuing success, a new opportunity has opened for a Project Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role

Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing complete contracts from order received through to final takeover. You will liaise with the other engineering disciplines involved in completing projects. You will lead and manage projects through all life cycle phases and will be responsible for regular reporting on schedule and financial costs through each stage.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering subject (or equivalent by experience) and have working experience in a relevant industry or experience of working in a project engineering role. A sound knowledge of common process equipment is key to this position, as is a competency in equipment layout drawing preparation and reviewing.
