Our Client
Our client provides audit and associated services to food manufacturing, supply and catering businesses across the country. Part of a larger group they can offer long term stability and career development.

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a candidate who is BRC Lead Audit and HACCP level 3 qualified and can demonstrate a strong knowledge of food safety, food defence, hygiene and quality assurance as an Auditor. The ideal candidate will have worked across a number of different BRC food categories and be able to demonstrate technical competence to an in-depth level.

Home based you will live in or near London and be prepared to travel up to 100 miles to conduct audits.

Responsibilities
To plan & conduct professional management system audits to enable delivery of assessment & certification services to meet customer requirements and accreditation standards.
Field based role, involving extensive travel regionally in the South East; this may necessitate occasional overnight stays.
Deliver associated services within the region

Skills and Experience
BRC Audit qualified
Able to demonstrate existing internal and supplier audit experience within a range of food environments.
Experience across a number of different food groups and environments.
May have worked as a Senior QA or Technical Manager.
Will possess an in-depth knowledge of food manufacture, S&D, HACCP and certification requirements.

The Role

We are searching for a Project Manager to support the team in the delivery of strategic company wide projects. You will take responsibility for the full life cycle of a number of assigned business change and business improvement projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Project planning and project objectives

* Project resource identification

* Drive projects through the business by utilising the resources available to you

* Take major decisions in the execution of project strategy

* Ensure all projects progress in a structured manner

* Take ultimate responsibility for project risk and project quality

You will be able to demonstrate similar previous experience working as a Project Manager within a certification and assessment environment. You will be a business change orientated Project Manager. You will be an excellent communicator with the skills to drive through and deliver projects utilising internal resources. With instant credibility and resilience you will have a demonstrable track record and the ability to achieve results.

Any experience of Agile or Prince will be beneficial, however the successful candidate will be supported to study and gain the appropriate qualifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced certification assessment manager to join a high profile organisation to help deliver new business initiatives. In return you will receive a salary of £45,000 - 55,000 plus benefits.

The role is either based at their London office or can be home based with regular weekly visits to London.
