Do you have experience of selling process technologies? Would you like to work for a global leader that design and supply of plant and equipment to the world's process industries?

It is an exciting period of growth for this business and as such they are looking for a Project Sales Manager to join their successful team. Established over 90 years ago, they pride themselves on producing a range of high quality processing equipment specifically for the production of fine, dry powders.

The Role

It is all about relationships and as Project Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing business and generating profitable sales by building strong relationships with new and existing customers whilst achieving sales budgets. It is also about thinking outside of the box on how you develop business opportunities by working with new leads and contacts, building credibility with customers, proposing a technical/commercial solution for full design and turn- key solutions as well as closing deals.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience selling process technology into the food/pharma/recycling/chemicals industry. It would be advantageous to have a HNC or above (or equivalent by experience), in engineering or technical discipline.

Due to continued success and growth our client are currently looking for an outstanding individual to act as a collaborative and dynamic leader within the organisation to proactively provide outstanding customer service through communicating with both the customer and internal teams to quickly resolve any problems that may arise.

The Role

As Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating internal teams to provide an outstanding customer experience to ensure high-quality long-term relations with several major clients. Your main responsibilities would include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and accounts and drive the day to day management, growth and retention of customers
  • Monitoring and developing customer service initiatives to improve efficiencies and hence the financial performance of the business
  • Providing input into and assisting with the preparation of strategic plans, annual budgets and change programmes
  • Identify any customer concerns, investigate and resolve problems with the relevant internal departments

To be successful in this role you should have prior experience of promoting exceptional customer service levels. You should have in depth experience gained within a complex, fast paced logistics environment, experience with FMCG products is desirable but not essential. You will be a team player and a highly effective collaborator who puts the well being of the entire business before personal success.
