Our client are a worldwide manufacturer of pumps for the municipal, industrial, commercial, fire, water, wastewater, off-shore, hvac, plumbing, power, flood control, building-trade, utility and packaged system markets. An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager who will accept the responsibilities to run the operations in Ireland on a daily basis.

As Operations Manager your purpose is to determine ways by which the company can increase productivity. You will responsible for the day to day Production Operation of the company, including but not limited to the following areas:

·Production; Sales; Engineering; Purchasing; Shipping and Inventory Control
·Work in concert with all departmental areas of the business to ensure the Company's Strategic Objectives are moving forward
·Increase market share in the UL/FM, NFPA, LPCB, EN12845 and Non-Listed pump markets
·Diversify into the waste water, sewage, cold water, HVAC and submersible markets
·Introduce new approved products to the fire and non-fire markets
·Implement revised production work procedures
·Maintain expenditures within the budget's guidelines
·Support Manufacturing to its full capacity
·Competent in preparing business strategies and implementing action plans
·Efficient in Project management
·Be the Company's Health & Safety Co-Ordinator
·To oversee the ISO quality system throughout the organization.
To be successful in this role you should be educated to degree level or similar third level qualification. You should be able to work in a team-based environment, be able to demonstrate efficient work methods, analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must have strong leadership skills and be able to demonstrate success in managing change, developing the team and confronting performance issues.
