Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of savoury flavourings and ingredients to the grocery, out-of home, specialised retail, pharmacy and bakery sectors. Due to continued growth and success they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.
Our client is looking for a sales focused and customer driven individual to develop and identify business development opportunities around the identified region.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for establishing new business accounts within the UK, while utilising and maintaining existing relationships. The successful candidate will be tasked with prioritising profitable and sustainable business plans while creating and managing their own business objectives and pricing proposals.
The successful candidate should have proven experience within food product development, with a food related degree being advantageous but not essential. The Business Development Manager will be required to travel around the UK and occasionally Western Europe and have the ability to think on their feet and make commercial decisions without immediate back up.
