Our Client

Polyvine Limited was established in 1986, and has been one of the leading innovators in specialist water based decorative paint systems during the last 30 years. They manufacture all of their products in the UK at their own manufacturing facilities.

They specialise in Varnishes, Decorative Paints, Exterior Wood Coatings, Adhesives, Stencils, Specialist brushes and Industrial coatings, all of which are produced at their factory. They are currently looking for General Assistant's to help in the factory.

The Role

As General Assistant you will be responsible for picking and packing, filling and labelling containers for stock and orders. Also lifting and palletising boxes for stock and orders. You will be reporting directly to the factory manager. You will control the flow of stock through the factory, despatching orders and prioritising as and when required.

The successful candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and will be a good team player. Attention to detail is important to this role and full on the job training will be given.

The Role

Our client is a Process Engineering business for the Food & Beverage Industry. They offer a complete range of process systems, ranging from small modifications and enhancements of existing systems, to the implementation of large turnkey projects. They are currently seeking an experienced Design & Project Engineer to join their business.

Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing complete contracts from order received through to final takeover. You will liaise with the other engineering disciplines involved in completing projects. You will lead and manage projects through all life cycle phases and will be responsible for regular reporting on schedule and financial costs through each stage.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a relevant engineering subject (or equivalent by experience) and have working experience in a relevant industry or experience of working in a project engineering role. A sound knowledge of common process equipment (hygienic valves, instruments, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuges, homogenisers) is key to this position, as is a competency in equipment layout drawing preparation and reviewing.
