Our client works within the renewable energy sector offering certification and accreditation services for manufacturers and installers whilst offering support to the consumer.

The Role
This role will take responsibility for ensuring that all committee activities run smoothly to help create an effective and influential decision-making body.
Whilst you will be office based in the North West, there will be regular travel to different parts of the UK which will require a reasonable amount of flexibility.
Key Accountabilities:
·Main point of contact for all Committees and their leadership;
·Work with each Committee Chair and others to build and maintain a forward look of Standards committee meetings reflective of business need;
·Organise, attend and minute MCS Board meetings; Liaising with teams and individuals submitting items for the agenda to ensure that the purpose of the item is clear and that the agenda is productive and purposeful;
·Ensuring papers are checked and submitted to members in a timely manner, providing scrutiny and feedback as to the quality of papers;
·Recording minutes to ensure accuracy with the Committee Chair
The Person
You will have worked in a similar role either supporting the work of a 'technical' committee or perhaps in an EPA or PA role within a technical or academic environment. You will possess a technical mind set, be able to absorb information and be comfortable taking minutes and producing reports.
·You will be able to demonstrate the following:
·Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, with technical colleagues;
·Build and maintain effective relationships across the committees;
·Coordinate workload with members of the team;
·Strong organisational skills;
·An optimistic and pragmatic approach to solving problems;
·Very strong written and verbal communication skills;
·Time Management;
·Excellent planning, detail conscientiousness and organisational excellence;
