The Role
As part of succession planning we are recruiting an experienced Food Safety professional to lead the Supplier Assessment programme across the UK, delivering third and second party audits and food safety services to food manufacturers and their supply chain.

A fully rounded role, leading a team of audit professionals, managing client relationships for commercial and technical queries, liaising with UKAS, BRC and other relevant schemes as appropriate.

You will be able to demonstrate a relevant background in food safety gained from a certification or manufacturing background. Likely to be Lead Audit qualified, you will have a strong knowledge of BRC - ideally across Food, Storage & Distribution and Agents & Brokers.

Degree qualified or with extensive experience you will have demonstrable operational / commercial experience and a strong understanding of food safety and assessment. You may be doing a similar role or have the appropriate transferable skills to move into an operational leadership position.
The role can be home based but will involve extensive travel to clients and meet with your team.

The Role
To lead assessments across EMEA, deliver services to clients and develop these relationships further to increase service provision.
Manage and develop a training programme for the company for internal & customer provision.
Based from home you will visit clients to conduct assessments and complete all follow up actions including reporting and client management.
The key requirement is a strong ISO Assessment background with an emphasis on Environmental schemes - ISO14001, ISO50000. You will also be involved in additional standards, so experience in ISO9001, ISO45001 etc. will be highly desirable.
The role will involve extensive travel across the UK and internationally with regular overnight stays, it is therefore essential you have flexibility in your lifestyle to allow regular travel.

The Role
We are searching for an experienced laboratory professional who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of quality and assessment within textiles, toys or a related industry within consumer products. You will be able to demonstrate experience of a variety of chemical tests with a specific knowledge of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). An existing expertise in ISO17025 is highly desirable, although consideration will be given to candidates with a good knowledge of ISO9001 who shows the aptitude and enthusiasm to develop an expertise in ISO17025.
Based from home you will visit clients to conduct assessments and complete all follow up actions including reporting and client management. The assessment will often require utilising colleagues' expertise, necessitating the management of a small team on an ongoing adhoc basis, as well as managing budgets and administration.
The key requirement is a strong laboratory and chemist background, excellent communication skills, drive and enthusiasm, a passion for the role and the ability to develop knowledge, expertise and credibility across different schemes. Project management experience is highly desirable.
The role will involve extensive travel across the UK and regular overnight stays, it is therefore essential you have flexibility in your lifestyle to allow regular travel. As your remit covers the whole of the UK, you will ideally be based 'centrally' with good access to the motorway network.

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a candidate who is BRC Lead Audit and HACCP level 3 qualified and can demonstrate a strong knowledge of food safety, food defence, hygiene and quality assurance as an Auditor or as a Technical or QA Manager Level who has extensive internal audit experience. The ideal candidate will have worked across a number of different BRC food categories and be able to demonstrate technical competence to an in-depth level.

Extremely busy, you will cover an area within 100 miles of home with the necessity to travel further afield and potentially stay away overnight on occasion.

Responsibilities
·To plan & conduct professional management system audits to enable delivery of assessment & certification services to meet customer requirements and accreditation standards.
·Field based role, involving extensive travel regionally in the South West & Midlands; this may necessitate occasional overnight stays.
·Deliver associated services within the region

Skills and Experience
·Able to demonstrate existing internal and supplier audit experience within a range of food environments.
·Experience across a number of different food groups and environments.
·May have worked as a Senior QA or Technical Manager.
·Will possess an in-depth knowledge of food manufacture, S&D, HACCP and certification requirements.
