Our Client

Our client is an independent global supplier of quality components to the lift, transport and keypad industries who have continued to supply best-in-class lift control and monitoring solutions to businesses all over the UK. As a result of their continuing success, they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Technical Manager to join their growing team.

The Role

Our client is looking for a hands on individual who is able to lead and manage the research & development and applications engineering teams.

As Technical Manager you will report directly to the managing director and will have a position within the senior management team. You will manage the technical project plans and revision as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. You will attend site visits and customer meetings. You will coach, mentor and develop staff as well as providing technical updates to the senior management team.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience of FMEA techniques. You should have a proven track record of innovation and technical management. You should ideally be qualified to degree level with a minimum of 3 years senior technical management experience, within an electro-mechanical engineering environment.
