As Export Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing profitable sales turnover and systematically develop sales opportunities for all company products and services to export distributors within the EMEA. You will have the strategy to develop a strong prospect pipeline of interested customers and potential orders in line with target. The successful Export Sales Manager will be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of the company's products and solutions and those of competitors.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in export sales within Europe. You should have an analytical approach to developing solutions for customers. The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Installation/Commissioning engineer from a mechanical or electrical background based anywhere in the UK.

The Role entails:

·Undertaking and/or assisting with installation and commissioning of major machines and systems
·Provision of troubleshooting/post installation support on major machines
·Provision of customer operator and/or engineer training as required
·Undertaking, conducting and achieving machine performance trials following installation/commissioning
·Provision of technical assistance to Field Service Engineers on routine service work
·Provision of technical support to Gordian sales/customers/dealerships
·Working with visiting technicians/representatives of machine suppliers on installations/fault rectification.

The role requires frequent contact with customers, other field service engineers, the Sales team and the Service Engineering Manager.

Skills and Experience

The applicant should be qualified to C&G/ONC (or vocational equivalent) standard and have an
electro/mechanical engineering background, together with a practical working knowledge of machinery and a logical approach to fault finding. Experience of installing/commissioning end of line packaging equipment would be an advantage, but is not essential. The applicant must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens/Allen Bradley/etc.) and you should feel comfortable working as part of a team or to act as project installation leader, as and when required.
