Our client is an exciting business, with a track record of enviable success. They are a market leading supplier of exterior lighting to high-end architects, M&E Consultants and designers across the UK. They are looking to continue their success by recruiting a highly motivated Business Development Manager for London & the Home Counties, with a proven track record in selling to M&E contractors and consultants.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for promoting sales to M&E consultants and contractors, as well as developing new business streams within the private sector targeting new build, refurbishment and D&B projects.

The ideal candidate will be a high performing achiever, ideally currently selling exterior lighting into the M&E sector (hospitals, car parks, schools etc). You will have an existing current customer base and possess the ability to develop your own business leads and deliver orders. Self-motivated and target driven, you are equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team.

The Role

Our client is looking for a sales focused and customer driven individual to develop and identify opportunities for sales of the polythene products.

As Business Development Manager you will be developing new customer relationships and closing new sales. You will have the strategy to develop a strong prospect pipeline of interested customers and potential orders in line with target. The successful Business Development Manager will be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of the company's products and solutions and those of competitors.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in the sales of printed bags, mailing bags and other polythene products. You should have an analytical approach to developing solutions for customers. If you are a driven and ambitious hard working individual, already working in a Business Development Manager or relevant role, and looking for your next move, then this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you.
