The Role
We are searching for an experienced certification professional with expertise in Health & Safety to work with assigned clients operating across the UK.
Based from home you will visit clients to conduct assessments and complete all follow up actions including reporting and client communication. The assessment will often require utilising colleagues' expertise, necessitating the management of a small team on an ongoing adhoc basis, as well as managing budgets and administration.

Skills and Experience
·Experience within a certification or similar environment
·Experience of Assessment or Audit
·A very strong knowledge of OHSAS18001 / ISO45001
·NEBOSH / IOSH or related qualifications or memberships
·Experience working within large national organisations
·Strong organisational & administrative skills
·Happy to travel widely and stay away from home when necessary
·Excellent communicator and client facing presence
The role will involve extensive travel across the UK and regular overnight stays, it is therefore essential you have flexibility in your lifestyle to allow regular travel. As your remit covers the whole of the UK, you will ideally be based 'centrally' with good access to the motorway network, all locations will be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a certification professional to utilise their management systems and audit experience in a new direction in a challenging and rewarding role. The client can offer a salary of £40,000-45,000 plus benefits, negotiable on experience.

Our Client
Our client provides audit and associated services to food manufacturing, supply and catering services across the country. Part of a larger group they can offer long term stability and career development.

The Role
As part of succession planning we are recruiting an experienced Food Safety professional to lead the Supplier Assessment programme across the UK, delivering third and second party audits and food safety services to food manufacturers and their supply chain.

A fully rounded role, leading a team of audit professionals, managing client relationships for commercial and technical queries, liaising with UKAS, BRC and other relevant schemes as appropriate.

You will be able to demonstrate a relevant background in food safety gained from a certification or manufacturing background. Likely to be Lead Audit qualified, you will have a strong knowledge of BRC - ideally across Food, Storage & Distribution and Agents & Brokers.

Degree qualified or with extensive experience you will have demonstrable operational / commercial experience and a strong understanding of food safety and assessment. You may be doing a similar role or have the appropriate transferable skills to move into an operational leadership position.
The role can be home based but will involve extensive travel to clients and meet with your team.
