Our client, an exceptional business is seeking a determined, driven and successful Sales professional with experience of selling complex capital equipment globally. They sell capital equipment to process engineering environments, ports, terminals & mines both directly and through dealers / distributors. Part of a large privately owned group they are well established and positioned ideally for growth.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual looking to further their sales career. Looking to strengthen their position in the market, as Area Sales Manager you will proactively develop and build new markets within Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will build and acquire long lasting relationships with new customers within the bulk materials handling industry, as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers. Developing high efficient technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with the team as well as supporting order processing with internal and external orders is a key part to this role.

If you are a proactive, independent & hardworking person looking to achieve excellent results then this is an exciting opportunity for you. To be successful for this role you should hold a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and industrial plant engineering, or equivalent by experience. It is also preferable that you can demonstrate international sales experience of major plant engineering orders.

Our Client

Our client are market leaders in the supply of containment & Aseptic transfer valves and integrated material handling equipment for the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Food and other process based industries. Due to continued growth and success they are now looking for an experienced European Technical Sales Manager to cover the assigned region of Benelux and France.

The Role

As European Technical Sales Manager you will report directly to the Head of Sales. You will be responsible for generating significant new business and further expanding existing accounts within the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals manufacturing sector. You will attend & present at external customer meetings & internal meetings. As well as taking a proactive role in increasing market share, identifying & developing sales opportunities.

To be successful in this role you should have engineering or manufacturing qualification/experience so that you can read engineering drawings. You should be able to identify business opportunities, build key customer relationships, negotiate & close opportunities.
