Our client, an exceptional business is seeking a determined, driven and successful Sales professional with experience of selling complex capital equipment globally. They sell capital equipment to process engineering environments, ports, terminals & mines both directly and through dealers / distributors. Part of a large privately owned group they are well established and positioned ideally for growth.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual looking to further their sales career. Looking to strengthen their position in the market, as Area Sales Manager you will proactively develop and build new markets within South East Asia. You will build and acquire long lasting relationships with new customers within the bulk materials handling industry, as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers. Developing high efficient technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with the team as well as supporting order processing with internal and external orders is a key part to this role.

If you are a proactive, independent & hardworking person looking to achieve excellent results then this is an exciting opportunity for you. To be successful for this role you should hold a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and industrial plant engineering, or equivalent by experience. It is also preferable that you can demonstrate international sales experience of major plant engineering orders.

Our client is an international supplier of engineering processing solutions and technologies across a wide range of industries. They are currently looking to strengthen their Technical Sales capability with the appointment of an experienced Technical Sales Manager to further develop their market position.

Key responsibilities will include customer visits including representing our client and their products through presentations; developing Technical and Commercial proposals and liaison with the principal, with a clear target of increasing sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
The candidate should be prepared for widespread UK travel covering the midlands to Scotland, visiting both existing and target customer base and be capable of translating customer's needs into a saleable solution. You will ideally have previous experience of relevant marketplaces ideally with a components company background. European travel will occasionally be required.
