Technical Standards Officer - Security
Our client is a leading specialist certification body offering services within product & systems certification. With over 30 years of success they are the market leader in their field. We are recruiting an experienced quality and standards professional who can demonstrate a strong knowledge of electronics within the security sector.
You will take a leading role in the management and development of existing schemes as well project managing the introduction of new schemes. You will keep abreast of technical changes within the sector and communicate this to stakeholders providing support and expertise as required to help the business adapt to new developments.
It is essential that you have an electronics or electrical background as well as good experience within the security sector and in-depth knowledge of standards within the industry - ISO9001 in general and specifically EN 50131, BS 7499 or BS 5839.
You will also be able to demonstrate IT literacy, project management and first class organisation and communication skills.
Skills and Experience
* Keen interest and knowledge of relevant security standards
* SO9001, EN 50131, BS 7499, BS 5839, NCP104, NCP109
* HND or higher qualification in an electronic or electrical discipline
* An enthusiasm to develop your knowledge and career within a certification environment
* Experience of electronic products within the security sector
* Excellent communicator & facilitator
