You will have an innovative approach to developing solutions for customers, identifying benefits and creating winning and benefit-driven marketing messages and strategies.

Our client is a German Manufacturer of Lighting Sensors with offices throughout the world. They are well known for their innovative solutions and the quality of the products. Due to rapid and continuous growth they are currently looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their successful team, covering the Midlands region.

The Role

They are looking for someone who is hungry for a challenge and has a proven track record of winning new business whilst also growing existing accounts. You will be expected to hit the ground running in selling the Lighting Sensors predominantly to Electrical Distributors. The first task will be managing the existing turnover on the patch, then once this has been established you will be expected to source new accounts.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the Electrical industry and will have sold products to Distributors and ideally liaised with Contractors as well. You should be capable of working on your own initiative as well as part of a small team. You must be confident, self-motivated, have the ability to listen and sell consultatively, have high energy levels and operate with the highest levels of integrity.

Currently working in a successful market place they have tremendous opportunity for growth and are looking for an experienced Certification Engineer with an Exe, Flameproof or Non-Electrical background to join their team.

The Role

The client can offer a technically interesting role that offers new challenges and projects on a regular basis. They offer an excellent modern working environment in a beautiful location. Every day is different, whether this is through new customers, new projects or new equipment you are working with. Technically challenging and stimulating they can offer long term stability and skills development.
Ultimately you will have responsibility for the certification of new products across the life cycle of a project, from preparing client quotes (time & cost) and project definition through to product testing and client reporting. You will assess product designs, examine and test product & equipment to various industry standards.

Skills and Experience
·Educated to HNC or higher in an engineering related subject
·Ability to read and understanding engineering drawings and diagrams as well as having hands on practical skills.
·Ability to complete all necessary reports and update systems
·Experience of engineering design and development, a rounded knowledge of the product lifecycle
·An understanding of ATEX and similar standards
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
