The Role
As Business Development Manager your main responsibility will be to maximise the growth in the English market by building on current contract wins, maximising the company's reputation for exceptional customer service and innovative processing technology, specifically targeting the public sector.

You will Investigate and develop a deep understanding of target markets as well as building a strong key business introducer network. You will partake in in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps in the market and opportunities to capitalise on competitor weakness.

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate should have significant experience in business development of a product or service with public sector clients. You should also have a track record in winning high value local government contracts by tender process. Our client is a specialist within Waste Consultancy. They offer the secure destruction of Hazardous and Non Hazardous waste as well as solution to solvent systems, testing and analysis. With an impressive portfolio of multiple commercial customers, they are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager within the industry.

The Role
As Site Chemist you ensure full compliance with site permits as well as waste acceptance analysis and rejections and non-conformances to be issued. Reporting to the Senior Site Chemist and working within a team to look at stock control including conformance checks, labelling for storage and despatch. You will also complete sample, compatibility test and batch processing of waste materials.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience within a similar role and understand the compliance of HSE Segregation guidelines. Ideally you will hold HND in Chemistry or equivalent subject. If you are a driven and ambitious hard working individual, already working in a Laboratory, Chemist or relevant role, and looking for your next move, then this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you.

The Role

Our client is looking for a hands on individual who is able to lead and manage the research & development and applications engineering teams.

As Technical Manager you will report directly to the managing director and will have a position within the senior management team. You will manage the technical project plans and revision as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. You will attend site visits and customer meetings. You will coach, mentor and develop staff as well as providing technical updates to the senior management team.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience of FMEA techniques. You should have a proven track record of innovation and technical management. You should ideally be qualified to degree level with a minimum of 3 years senior technical management experience, within an electro-mechanical engineering environment.

As Business Development Manager you will lead both the technical and commercial details of the proposals to assist the directors in negotiation and bid and tendering process. You will have the strategy to develop how to grow the Combined Heat and Power Generation business. The successful Business Development Manager will be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge of the company's products and solutions and those of competitors.
