Our client are a market leading Plant Hire company. Established over 50 years ago today the business has a fleet size of over 500 accommodation units providing bespoke manufactured solutions to many of the major players in the construction industry.

The Role

The fleet operations manager will be responsible for all fleet operations and related engineering support ensuring product reliability and quality standards are sustained at the highest level whilst maintaining budgetary requirements. The role will be working as part of the senior management team and requires a proven manager that is able to demonstrate a wide experience in the industry with the ability to develop and manage the systems and staff to achieve the overall aims of the business.

The successful candidate will manage the hire fleet, staff training requirements and their performances and any recruitment needs the team may have. The Operational Fleet Manager will have proven experience in a similar roles within the cabin industry, as well as having a good working knowledge of cabin construction, systems and maintenance requirements. Knowledge of standalone welfare units would be an advantage but not an essential.

The Role

The Role

As Regional Sales Engineer you will report directly to the Sales Director. You will be targeted with generating new profitable sales leads and developing growth with existing customers. You will conduct meetings with customers to clarify their fluid seals uses and requirements, as well as establishing and maintaining current customer relationships. You will provide effective product demos for end user customers as well as for the resellers. This is a field based role dealing with a variety of industries.

The ideal candidate should have previous business-to-business sales experience and have worked with or selling fluid sealing, gasket or engineering related products. You should have the ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all organisational levels.
