The Role

As Area Sales Manager for the North West you will have complete autonomy to devise and execute a clear Sales strategy in line with business objectives to maximise sales with existing and new customers, primarily focusing on food manufacturing clients. Through your in depth knowledge of the products and services and exceptional communication skills, you will act as a Consultant to advise and nurture customers, ensuring a high satisfaction level and maximising add-on sales.

To achieve great things in this role, you must have previous experience of selling capital equipment in the B2B market, and ideally, experience in the food manufacturing sector with demonstrable technical sales success in relation to achievement of targets and goals.

You will work with internal teams to maximise sales volumes, pricing and product mix, while optimising payment terms and all other terms and conditions.

To be successful in this role you should have an engineering or manufacturing qualification/experience. A strong background in providing technical support is essential to this role.
