Our client operates across the UK providing ISO consultancy and audit support to a large variety of SMEs. Concentrating on ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001, they are increasingly busy implementing and auditing against ISO27001 as well as additional standards including Business Continuity (ISO22301), Energy Management (ISO50001) and Risk Management (ISO31000).
A successful business experiencing strong growth, they have created a new leadership role to manage, mentor, train and guide their team of Auditors / Quality Consultants.
The majority of your role will be managing a small team of field based ISO Consultants across the ‘South East’ of England. You will drive performance through communication, training and mentoring. Working with other managers you will work to improve the quality of output. Occasionally you will work in the field implementing and auditing management systems – ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and ISO27001 etc. Full training will be given to complement your existing ISO and management skill set.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of ISO standards ideally across multiple systems – ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO27001 etc. Any knowledge of any of the following – ISO20000, ISO22000, ISO22301, ISO31000 or ISO50000, would be beneficial. You will ideally have existing audit experience from first, second or third party audits. These technical skills will be complemented by top of the range management and communication skills, a rounded business and commercial understanding as well as a range of soft skills that include analysis, presentation, patience, tolerance and facilitation.
This is a home based role managing a team situated across the South East. The role will entail a reasonable amount of travel to meet your team and to attend meetings. Very occasional overnight stays will also be required. The ideal candidate will live in the Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire area.
Skills and Experience
* Strong technical knowledge across a range of ISO standards.
* Demonstrable people management & mentoring
* Ideally previous auditing experience.
* Rounded business experience at a senior level within a variety of sectors.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Salary of £50K
* Contributory Pension Scheme
